Terms of Use

Last Updated: July 15, 2026Effective Date: July 15, 2026
Version 1.1
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the AllScanTool website and platform at allscantool.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You must agree to these rules to use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lexicon Media Holdings LLC ("AllScanTool," "we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced with at least 14 days' advance notice via a prominent banner on the homepage. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity and not be banned from using our Service.

The Service operates without mandatory user accounts. You represent and warrant that: (a) you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement; (b) you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law; (c) you are not a sanctioned or denied person under applicable export control or sanctions laws.

3. Acceptable Use

Use the Service legally and responsibly. Don't submit code you don't own.

Authorized Uses

The Service is provided for legitimate security analysis of source code you own or are authorized to scan, including: scanning your own code or code you are authorized to scan on behalf of a client; security audits within your professional responsibilities; educational exploration of vulnerability patterns in code you own.

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  1. Submit source code you do not own or are not authorized to scan
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any proprietary material in the Service
  3. Attempt to disrupt, damage, or exploit the Service or its infrastructure
  4. Use automated scripts exceeding normal individual use without prior written approval
  5. Repackage, resell, or commercialize the Service without a separate written agreement
  6. Attempt to bypass the UI, payment system, or security controls
  7. Use the Service to facilitate unlawful activities
  8. Submit code containing live, production-grade personal data unless necessary for authorized processing

See our Acceptable Use Policy for detailed prohibited uses.

4. Intellectual Property

We own the Service. You own your code and your scan results.

AllScanTool owns all rights, title, and interest in the Service and all intellectual property, except for: (a) user-submitted source code, which remains your property; (b) generated scan reports, which you own upon full payment. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of AllScanTool's software, algorithms, trademarks, trade secrets, or other proprietary technology.

Confidentiality

AllScanTool treats all submitted source code as confidential information. We will not disclose, share, or make available your source code to any party except as necessary to provide the Service (including transmission to our sub-processors as described in Section 7) or as required by law.

By submitting source code, you grant AllScanTool a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process the code for vulnerability scanning, transmit code to sub-processors as necessary, and generate and deliver scan results. This license terminates when the scan is complete.

Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access your scan results via Unlock URL for 30 days, use findings for internal security remediation, and share findings with clients for whom you scanned.

5. Code Submissions

You're responsible for the code you submit. Don't send malware or live secrets.

You retain all ownership of source code you submit. You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or are authorized to scan the code; (b) the submission does not infringe third-party rights; (c) the code does not contain malware or malicious payloads; (d) you comply with all applicable laws. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AllScanTool from any claims arising from your submissions or violations of these Terms.

6. AI Processing Disclosure

AI helps scan your code. Your code isn't used to train AI models.

AllScanTool uses AI/ML technology to analyze submitted source code for vulnerability patterns. When you submit code for scanning:

  • Your code is transmitted over TLS 1.2+ encryption to our backend infrastructure
  • From there, your code is transmitted to our AI/ML sub-processor at api.mistral.ai/v1/chat/completions on servers located in the European Union
  • The sub-processor analyzes your code and returns vulnerability findings to us
  • AllScanTool does not retain your source code after the scan completes
Under AllScanTool's paid API plan, submitted source code is NOT used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model — ours or our sub-processor's.
The AI/ML sub-processor may retain submitted code for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes, then permanently deletes it.

For complete details on what AllScanTool retains and does not retain, see our No-Logs Policy. For our AI commitment, see our Acceptable Use Policy Section 4.

7. Sub-Processors

We use other companies to help run the Service. We'll tell you before we change them.

AllScanTool engages the following third-party service providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Stripe Inc. — Payment processing (stripe.com/legal/privacy)
  • Mistral AI — AI/ML vulnerability scanning (legal.mistral.ai/terms/data-processing-addendum)
  • Cloudflare Inc. — CDN, DDoS protection, key-value token storage (United States)

Change Notification: If AllScanTool adds a new sub-processor or replaces an existing one, we will post a notice at allscantool.com/sub-processors at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Objection Rights: You may object to AllScanTool's appointment of a new sub-processor during the 14-day notice period by emailing privacy@allscantool.com. If you object, your sole remedy is to terminate use of the Service before the new sub-processor takes effect.

Any change in sub-processor will require a corresponding update to all retention disclosures in this policy before the new sub-processor begins processing user data.

See our complete Sub-Processor List for ongoing updates.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided as-is. We're not liable for most damages.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.

The Service provides vulnerability pattern detection and does not guarantee identification of all security issues. It does not constitute a comprehensive security audit and should not be relied upon as such.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLSCANTOOL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. ALLSCANTOOL'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Payment and Refunds

$7.95 one-time payment. No refunds after scan completes. Exceptions may be made where required by applicable law or for verified billing errors or technical failures on our side.

Full report unlocks require a one-time payment of $7.95 USD, due in advance. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Due to the immediate and ephemeral nature of the Service, refunds are generally not provided once a scan is completed and results delivered. Exceptions may be made at AllScanTool's discretion for billing errors or technical failures on our side.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc. AllScanTool does not store full payment card details.

10. Business Transfer

If AllScanTool is sold, your data transfers to the new owner with the same protections.

If AllScanTool undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred to the successor entity.

We commit to providing at least 30 days' advance notice of such transfers. The successor entity will honor the privacy commitments in these Terms, including the commitments in our Privacy Policy.

If the new owner's practices materially differ from those in our Privacy Policy, you may request deletion of your data upon written notice.

11. Termination

We can ban you for breaking the rules. Your access ends immediately.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for: violation of these Terms; breach of the Acceptable Use Policy; or unlawful use of the Service.

Upon termination: your right to use the Service immediately ceases; any Unlock URLs become invalid; payment tokens are purged after standard retention. Sections governing intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and general provisions survive termination.

12. US State Privacy Rights

Multiple US states have consumer privacy laws. We honor all of them.

In addition to California rights covered in our Privacy Policy, the following US state privacy laws may apply to your use of the Service depending on your state of residence. AllScanTool honors all applicable state consumer privacy rights regardless of threshold requirements:
